Diana Posner is a Certified Public Accountant in New York and New Jersey and a Certified Fraud Examiner with 15 years of accounting experience, blended across public and private practice. She spent the first half of her career in public accounting performing financial statement audits in a variety of industries: real estate, construction, not-for-profit, retail, and benefit plans.
Upon leaving public accounting, Diana worked as the top-level financial executive for several service companies as well as a real estate management and development company, gaining valuable insight as to how owners use financial reporting to drive business.
That combination is the whole point of the practice. Audit work teaches you what it takes for a set of books to be defensible when somebody outside the company examines them. Sitting in the finance seat teaches you what an owner actually needs to decide something on a Tuesday. Most accounting problems come from having only one of those two perspectives.

If the books do not support what has been reported, or a structure is not meeting an obligation, you hear it plainly and early. A CPA name sits on this work, and softening a finding helps nobody.
We stay in your systems
We work in AppFolio and QuickBooks, inside the accounts you already own. No migration as a condition of engagement, and no dependence on a spreadsheet only we can read.
We say when we are not the fit
We do not prepare tax returns, and we do not claim software or industries we have not worked in. When something falls outside that, we will point you somewhere better rather than take it on.
